Hi Heather, 7-7-2010
Maggie is now 16 weeks old and weighs about 10 lbs. I can't believe that she has doubled in size since we brought her home. She is enrolled in puppy class and is doing great on all her commands. I think she has made a best friend, it is a Goldendoodle that lives about 2 blocks away. They are about a week apart in age and they love to wrestle and chase each other all over the yard.
As you can see, she had her first overnight in Carmel over the long weekend. She loved the beach, but only went in the water up to her elbows. She chased the frisbee and other dogs, and had a delightful time. We went to Doris Day's hotel one day for lunch, they are so dog friendly! I was worried that she may bark or hear noises in the unfamiliar surroundings, but she slept right through the night both nights and no accidents in the room, whew. We are still working on her consistently going to the "pea-a-torium". She continues to make us laugh daily with her silliness, fetching, and that cute face. I think you should send us business cards, she is a great ambassador. Everyone loves her and she loves everyone. We take her every where we are allowed. She loves her portable crate and is a great traveler. We enjoy her so much, and she is always happy! What a fun loving dog. Sincerely, Bob and Judy Glenn

Just wanted to send you an update and a picture collage of Mr. Mosby.  Boy has he grown, he is tipping the scales at about 25 lbs, but he still thinks he is a lap dog.  Mosby is the sweetest puppy, he is full of love and a ball of happiness.  He he is never out of our site, usually right under our feet, definitely a people dog .  We were just kicked out of the small dog park and had to move over to the large dog park.  Not as fun chasing dogs twice your size as he really loved to chased and roll over the Chihuahuas, but he has adjusted quiet nicely, until a dog tries to chase him then he barrels into us and knocks us down. Not as brave as he thinks he is... Everyone that meets him fall instantly in love with him for obvious reasons. When we arrive at the park everyone yells "Hey Mosby" somewhat like a Cheers episode.  He has a following.  Mosby loves the pool, but would rather float around on his little raft and watch the kids play and get a little sun than swim around.  We just wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a wonderful addition to our family.  He has brought some much laughter into our lives as we are constantly cracking up by his personality and floppiness.  His top priorities in life are to be snuggled and to have his belly rubbed.  That simple!  Life is good.

 Hi Heather, 6-10-2010

Finally learned how to transfer photos from our camera to our computer and thought you would enjoy seeing some stages of growth of Finn.

Finn is now 9 months and we are enjoying him so very much.  He is definitely house trained and comes to us and barks to go out and goes to one area we've trained him to use.  He sleeps in a larger kennel in our bedroom and a very large kennel in the family room is for when we have to leave him at home alone.  He still loves to steal a piece of clothing when we've changed in to PJs for the night so we still keep close watch on him.  He's very socialized with people and other dogs, loves both.  We've had him groomed 3 times and I bathe and groom him in between.  Using a special brush and comb and finishing tool...........good about me brushing him out.  Good on a leash and loves to go with us in the car.......never been car sick.  Wonderful not to have a shedding dog.  He'll jump and nap with us in our recliners, so loves to cuddle and will sleep in as late as I like to sometimes and never a peep out of him.

Hope all is well with you and your family and the furry family also.  And your business continuing to go well.  I go on your web site ever so often and still love to see the mamas, papas and puppies....they are truly a very sweet breed and Finn is bringing us a lot of joy and companionship.

Sincerely,
Pat Dorroh

Hello Heather,  4-7-2010
Here is a picture of our “Ruby”. Thank you so much for helping us choose her. She is hilarious, and much like her father Gambler. She hides her toys, loves her toys, can’t get enough of her toys and is always ready to play. She has brought complete joy to our family. Her personality is exactly what we wanted in a dog. She is the talk of the town, literally everywhere we go someone doesn’t hesitate to ask, “What kind of a dog is that?” She just turned a year on February 14th. That’s why we named her Ruby. We wanted something red. My concern about my allergies is non-existent. She doesn’t shed, which is a plus. Oh she also loves to jump in the car whenever we are about to go somewhere. When we don’t take her she actually pouts and lifts her eyes to the sky to ask God,”Why me?” Anyways I hope and pray business is booming for you. We pass on all the info about her and that we purchased her from you. If I could purchase another dog I would definitely get another labradoodle from you. Who knows what our future holds? The girls and I are trying to talk daddy into anotherJ.  Take care. Rebekah Courtney and family

Hi Heather,  3-10-2010

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Its been three months since we picked up Beau from your house.  We thought you might like to hear how he is doing...and have a fresh picture. Well, first of all, we call him Cooper.  He took to his new name, home and family immediately.  Cooper has been a wonderful addition to our family.  He is smart, affectionate, playful and very cute (as you can see from the picture). Cooper puts smiles on everybody's face as we walk him through town.  He especially looks forward to meeting up with two other older labradoodles along our usual walking route.  They seem to have a special affinity for Cooper (and vice versa), which is interesting since the two were imported directly from Tegan Park in Australia...so they could be Cooper's long lost cousins!

Thanks again for everything.

Hi Heather!  3-10-2010
This is Luke at about 9 months old. He is a sweet boy out of Hannah and Louie. He is almost 2 years old now and has grown to be a 40 lb beautiful medium Labradoodle. His fleecy coat is so soft and he doesn't shed a bit!Luke's temperament has not changed a bit since the day we brought him home! He has the most gentle disposition of any dog I have ever known. Sweet and cuddly and soooo friendly! He is up for whatever we do. He is happy to hang out in the house on a lazy day or be out and about on a busy day. He loves everybody and is very very gentle and loving with children. He is absolutely amazing! Luke has traveled well too! He has been to the Utah mountains for the past 2 summers and a trip driving from LA to Florida as well as the flight home from that trip! Nothing bothers him. He sleeps peacefully in the car on long road trips and was none the worse for wear on that 12 hour crate day flying home from Florida! We love him so much it's crazy! So does everyone that meets him! This summer we are planning to add to our family by getting another Doodle! We would never go anywhere else but Hales, so be expecting a call from us soon to reserve a pup!
Love, Jana

 Hi Heather, 10-11-2009
I just wanted to tell you how wonderful your dogs are. We are enjoying our puppy, Duke, so very much! He has become a part of our family so quickly. He's smart, adorable, and extremely friendly. He was house-trained very very fast. He has such a great disposition.   It's obvious that you have been doing this for a long time, and with great care and love. I would highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for a great family addition. He learns new tricks so easily and is very obedient most of the time.   It's just amazing how smart he is. He's only 3 and a half months old, but already goes right into the crate when we gather our keys to leave the house. It's remarkable. He is a gem!!! Can't wait to take him out and show him off in a week when he out of "quarantine" with all his shots completed and in effect.  We did such an unbelievable amount of research when picking a dog for our family.  We obviously made the right choice when picking you to advise us in our choice.  He's a love - and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such a beautiful dog! Here's a picture of my kids with Duke in the back yard hanging out. Thanks again!!! We couldn't be more thrilled.
With gratitude,
Joanne Bertagna and family (Duke included!)

 Hi, Heather,  10-9-2009
This is Digby at about 7 months.  He sure looks like his dad!  He is almost never this clean so we wanted you to see him cleaned up and handsome.  He is a handful at the moment, but mostly he is wonderful.  He is loving, sweet, playful and smarter than I am!  He worms his way into everyone's heart.  He knows everyone on our walks and everyone admires his good manners and good looks.  If you have gotten any inquiries from Stockton folks, Digby is the most likely the reason.
He plays well at the dog park but still wants to domineer sweet Cooper.  Digby and Cooper play very rough and yet Digby is so sweet with strange dogs.  I hope Gambler and Sugar are well.  Digby has the spirit of both of them.  I loved seeing the new batch of puppies!
I hope you are all well.      Judy McGrew

Hi Heather,
We just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how the puppies are
doing. They are now about 4 1/2 months old now. They are doing great.
Snickers (the one we kept) weighs 8 and a half pounds, while his brother,
Scooter (the one Jimmy bought) weighs 12 and a half pounds.  Hershee (the
one Kevin has) weighs 15 and a half pounds. They have adjusted to their new
homes extremely well.  They get along great with the kids and the other
dogs.  We try to have puppy playdates so they can get together and play.
Each family loves their puppy and wouldn't trade him for anything in the
world.  Each one has his own unique personality.  They are all very social
and love being the center of attention but are not demanding.  The kids love
them and I have to say that Snickers may be the most loving and affectionate
dog I have ever owned.  Our other dogs, Otis the Pug and Buddy the English
Labrador, have accepted Snickers as one of their own.  Kevin loves Hershie,
and Jimmy and his family adore Scooter.  I think we may have the only 3 mini
Austrailian Labradoodles within several hundred miles, if not further.  They
are very unique and people love to look at and play with them.  They are the
perfect breed.  They are extremely intelligent, loving, quick to learn
(Snickers already sits for his food bowl) and very social.  The breed
combines the intelligence characteristic of the poodle and the labrador with
the added bonus of not shedding.  I personally like the mini version of the
breed because you get the best of the previous breeds I mentioned wrapped up
in a small package.  The local veterinarian has checked each one and has
given them all a clean bill of health.  He said it was very evident that
they are very well bred and that the breeder, you, obviously love and take
very good care of your puppies.  I have no doubt that the next time we have
the need for another dog, it will be a mini Austrailian Labradoodle.
I would like to personally thank you for allowing me the pleasure of doing
business with you.  You were extremely helpful in helping me decide on which
puppies to buy.  You have been extremely professional during and after the
purchase of these puppies.  I hope that anyone that reads this that may have
concerns about the price of these puppies will remember that you usually get
what you pay for.  These puppies are worth every dime of their cost.
Everything that you told me about this breed is true and it is evident that
you are dedicated to the success of the breed.  You warned me that it would
be a problem for us if we bought our friend, Kevin, a puppy and kept it for
two weeks while he was out of town.  You said that I wouldn't want to give
him up, and you were correct.  I couldn't imagine turning him loose.  I had
to have him.  I never imagined that I would end up getting 3 of these
puppies, one for myself and one each for Kevin and Jimmy.  We are all very
pleased with each of these puppies.  I know that if we ever want another one
again, it will be a very easy decision on who to call.  Thank you again for
all of your help and I hope you and your family are doing great.  You are
more than welcome to use this as a testimonial and I hope that you do.  I
would hope that it may help influence a person that may be interested in
this breed to make the decision to buy one of your puppies.  I think that
the breed is great but is only as good as the breeder.  It is clearly
evident that you not only know what you are doing but love it and made it
part of your life.  Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Clay- Snickers (far right on photo)
Jimmy- Scooter (middle of photo)
Kevin- Hershie (far left of photo)

Lexie is five months old today.  She weighs 15 pounds.   Attached is a recent picture of her. She is such a "Love", and definitely is a gentle soul, most of the time anyway. Don’t get me wrong, she can be rambunctious and loves to tease. She loves an audience, waiting til everyone is watching to really turn on the charm, jetting from place to place, running in circles as fast as she can go. We are enjoying every minute with her. She loves people, and people love her. Her favorite thing to do is roll onto her back when she meets someone new, so her "new friend" can rub her tummy. We have been taking her in the swimming pool. Can’t say she loves the water yet, but she has no fear of it. We just started doggie training classes. She is easily trained.  Hope all is well with you and your family and you are continuing to have pups as wonderful as our Lexie. Thank you for all of your support in helping us choose just the right dog for our family.

 Hi Heather !
I can hardly believe it has been 1 1/2 months since we picked up our puppy at Indianapolis.  I hope your sister's wedding went well!
Maverick is doing so well.  The 3rd day we had him he would ring the bells by the door to go potty.  He has not had an accident in 2 weeks. : )  He loves doing tricks and he can do the following...touch, sit, down, shake, high-five, roll over and is now playing fetch with a ball.  He has been so much fun and he loves to go for rides in the car.  The Starbucks employees really love him and have placed his photo on their wall!  : )
I have attached some of his photos but I am also going to send you a link to a flickr account that I have started with his photos and one video of him doing some of his tricks earlier this week.  He learned roll over on Monday of this week and you can see him in the video on that day.  He is so much better now and just rolls over sometimes when he wants to.  I am not sure if you have to have a yahoo account to view it or not. If you have a flickr account or if other owners do have a group, I would love to be apart of it and see some photos from other Hale owners!  It would be fun!
Everyone that has seen him has talked about how well socialized, smart and happy a puppy he is!  Thank you to you and your family for that!  We are so thankful!
Thanks again!

Hello Hale Family -                                                                                                           5-20-2009

We wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we love Cody. Cody is an amazing puppy and it was clear from day one that you and your family spent a  lot of time with the puppies. Cody adjusted well to his new home and was quick to be house trained.  We all have pet allergies and are so pleased to say that Cody is the first dog all of us can be with and none of us have allergies.  This has been especially important for our boys who really wanted an indoor puppy.  We can't seem to go anywhere without a crowd of people wanting to meet Cody. They all comment how handsome, sweet and smart he is.  We always tell the folks we meet that if you are looking for a Labradoodle, the only one to see
is Hale's Labardoodle's.  It is apparent that you treat all the puppies like members of your family.  The schedule and training you do with the puppies makes it easy for us to take over and keep our puppy on the right path.   A huge thanks to you Heather and your family for putting Cody in our lives.

Thank you,

John Greywitt

Dear Heather,                                                                                                                         6-4-2009
We wanted to give you a 2 year update on how great Rosie (JR and Pumpkin 3/07) was doing.  To start with she is just a wonderful dog.  She has become an integral part of our family and  goes everywhere we go.  She is a gentle and loving companion for our 2 kids, and a great companion and exercise buddy for my wife and I.  She loves going on long walks and going off leash at the park, playing with other dogs and chasing a tennis ball.  She has endless energy and is the fastest runner at the local park.  Her athletic ability and agility is truly amazing and something I did not expect.  The vet has said she has an athletic body and athletic heart.  When she is outside, she is super energetic but in the house she is very mellow.  I have taken her to obedience training 1 time per week for over 1 year and she is a great healer, can be walked in the neighborhood off leash and listens to almost all my commands.  We are still considering applying for her to be a therapy dog  at a local nursing home.  She is just the sweetest, friendliest and best behaved dog we could of asked for.  Thanks for doing such a great job at breeding wonderful labradoodles.
Sincerely,Steven Permut

Hi Heather,                                                                                                                           4-26-2009

Boy it’s hard to believe that our labradoodle Buckley  (Daisy & Jammie) is 7 months old already.  He is a very sweet natured and loving boy.  I’m glad we got a male as he does love everybody in the family like you said he would.  He has completed two obedience classes and is always at the top of the class.  The trainer said he is the best labradoodle she has ever had in her class and she has been training for 25 years.  He is very smart and learns tricks in no time at all.    We take him everywhere with us and people are always stopping us to ask what he is.  We were even in San Francisco one day and a car stopped on a very busy street to ask what he was.  I have given the name of your kennel to several people so hopefully they have contacted you.
We take him to our local dog park a couple of times a week and he loves it.  He plays very well with all sizes of dogs, and loves to play chase.  He is also very good at playing fetch and has been doing that from a very early age.

Hi Heather:                                                                                                                                  4-28-2009

We are SO enjoying Tucker.  He is adorable and a really good puppy.  I am following your schedule (worked well

for the kids:) and he is has adjusted very well to the 2 different homes, one being painting so everyday is alittle different.   I can't believe that he fetches so well at his age and seems to know where toys, food, water, doors, etc are even in 2 different homes.

My daughter took this on Saturday.  My older kids are coming home....just to see Tucker.  A new puppy is such a treat. Tucker fetching....1/2 hour of this is his fun time!!!  Brings the toy back to me, even the right one in a group of different ones.  I am so used to Tibetiab Terriers who got tired of this game after a few minutes!!

Thanks so much for such a great puppy.

Hi Heather,                                                                                                                           4-30-2009

Bella just had her very first to the beauty salon.  Not that wasn’t gorgeous already…her bangs just needed a little trim.  I have to tell you that she has been the most wonderful addition to the family.  Not only is she smart, sweet, cuddly and affectionate…she has helped me lose 35 pounds since I brought her home in February by taking long walks, playing ball and going to the park with Kirsten.  Even my husband has succumbed to her charms…I have come home from work to find her sitting under his desk while he is working.

Anyway, I thought you’d enjoy seeing her picture.  Hope you and your family (human and fur) are doing well.

 Hi Heather –

I just wanted to give you an update on Lucy at 5 months old.  What an amazing puppy!  What a great personality!  To say she is the smartest pet I have every experienced is an understatement. Can you believe that at such a young age she understands the following words and commands:  Sit, Stay, Come, Down, NO! Potty, Shake, Hi Five!  Hi Ten! And even Rollover.

When I say, “Lucy, let’s go for a walk!” she goes and gets her own leash and brings it to the door and sits.  I can shout out her toys by name:  “Get your bone!”  “Get your duck!” or “Get your squirrel!”  and she knows which to bring.  It’s a challenge to keep up with how fast SHE learns new commands.
Lucy is so social with everyone – dogs and humans alike.  We are stopped so many times when walking down the streets of Beverly Hills by people that  pull over their cars and shout,  “What kind of dog is that!?”

Could a starring role in a Stephen Spielberg or Disney feature be far off?!   She really enjoys her lessons - not only with me - but also with the great Animal Planet trainer Dina Zaphiris www.dinazaphiris.com

Also, she hangs out all day at the office and of course the staff love her and the visitors are in awe of the tricks enjoys performing.

During the day when she is not playing with her bones and toys,  she sits under my desk and rests, acting like a foot warmer – she is just the mellowest,  mostly gentle and best friend anyone could possibly hope for.

 THANK YOU!

Hi Heather,
Our vet calls him a furry little angel.  We just love him and think that he must be the sweetest puppy ever.  My little son said the other day, "I bet all dogs wish they could be as happy as Zack."  A neighbor the other day told me that he should be on TV.  This neighbor doesn't even like dogs, but loves Zack.  He walks up to her wagging his tail so hard, then sits at her feet, cocks his head to the side, and waits for her to pet him.  You were right; he is a meet and greeter.  His fur is so soft, friendly, cute, goofy, calm and smart.  Thank you.

Michele

6-8-2008 - Heather,

I just wanted to send you some recent pictures of Fenway. He is the most fabulous dog! We couldn’t be happier. He is so gorgeous we can’t take him for a walk without getting stopped by everyone who sees him. And his trainer swears he is the best Labradoodle she has ever met. He has such a sweet, lovely temperament and is very playful, social, loving dog. We love him!!

Angela Milstein

 3-2008 - Heather,

I wanted to give you an update on the puppy we adopted from you in hopes that you would share it on your past puppies website section. We want everyone to know how great our dog is. We adopted "George" last June and decided to give him a last name and call him "Jetson." He is the sweetest dog in the world. No one can believe how sweet and mellow his temperament is. Despite constant pestering from his companion in the pic, Hutton, he has never shown the slightest bit of aggression. It is such a comfort to know that you can have anyone in your home and not worrying about having an aggressive dog. Unlike a lot of puppies, he never chewed any shoes, or other items, except his own chew toys. He is just so smart! We were lucky to find your website and find Jetson, our new family member and the best dog ever.

Sincerely,
Suzy Hein

This is Hailey Grace, born 12/9/05 Ling Ling and Marley. Hailey has brought nothing but joy to our lives. She has been the most wonderful addition to our family. We couldn't have asked for a more loving, devoted, smart, comical dog. She's also quite a beauty and is featured in the book "Mutts" by Sharon Montrose. She's done some TV work as well, but mostly she's happy to hang out with her brother the cat and pursue her favorite hobbies - frisbee, ball catching and swimming. I hope to add another Hales Doodle to our family in 2008!

10-18-2007 - Hey Heather….

I thought you might enjoy this photo of Patrick (son of Hannah & JR). He is almost 9 months old, now. He has developed a signature greet when meeting other dogs…he runs up to them and kisses them right on the mouth ( it is well received most of the time). He is definitely a lover and not a fighter. Patrick is my second Doodle and he is by far the kindest, sweetest, gentlest, most sensitive and entertaining pup I have ever had! In this pic, he seems to think he is posing for the centerfold in Dog’s Life Magazine. I enclosed the baby pic you sent me when we chose him from the liter, for comparison. His nickname is Velcro because everything sticks to his coat. Thanks for the fantastic addition to our family.

Sincerely….
Kevin Stone

10-4-07 - Hi Heather,

It was great speaking with you today about adding another Labradoodle to our family. Ryder (out of Pumpkin's and Joey's first litter) has been a wonderful addition to our family. Aside from being a crowd stopper, he is the most lovable and fun-loving dog I could have hoped for. He is incredible with my three kids and he is truly a beloved member of our family. He swims, wrestles and plays hide and seek with my kids, and he is a great walking partner for me. I have to admit...I enjoy playing hide and seek with him too. Thank you so much for your guidance in helping us pick the perfect puppy for our family. As you may remember, I did a lot of research and put a lot of thought into the selection of a puppy. I made the 4 hour round trip to Bakersfield twice before picking Ryder up and taking him home. Your knowledge and care of your dogs was evident to me the first time I visited your home. I appreciate the patience you showed me during my many phone calls and your assurances that you believed I was bringing home a very special boy. You were right and I can't thank you enough. I am sending you two pictures. One is of just Ryder and the other is of Ryder and our 14 1/2 year old Cockapoo Shayna. Despite the size differential, Ryder has always been respectful of his elder. Unfortunately Shayna passed away last week and it has left a big hole our hearts. We do truly believe that having Ryder gave Shayna a little extra "oomph" during this past year. Thank you for giving us a puppy that has truly enriched all of our lives. Perhaps there is another Hale's Labradoodle for us on the horizon.

Lisa Leonard

9-2007 - Hi Heather,

Attached is a picture of Sierra at 7 months with our son Sean. I thought you might like seeing how she has grown. She continues to be just a terrific dog. She brings us lots of joy. All the best to you and your family

Leslie Wright

P.S. We think she is beautiful!!

This is a picture of Mercedes, taken right after her first birthday party at Top Notch. I have Hale Labradoodles to thank for this very special companion. This dog brings incredible joy into our lives.

Thanks again

9/2007 - Hi Heather,

I am just writing to check in and tell you how happy we are with Milly! She is almost 9 months and we can't believe how quickly the past 7 months have gone! We have made friends with our entire neighborhood because we can't go anywhere without being stopped.. I think I have given your website out to at least 50 people! She is such a love and we are so happy that we found you. You did a wonderful job breeding her and raising her has been easier than I ever could have imagined - she was house broken by the end of week 1! She follows me everywhere I go, constantly running from one room to another only to find that I am going right back to that room, I laugh every time! I attached a few recent pictures that we took on our many adventures! P.S. I just ran into a woman the other day when I was walking Milly around Brentwood Country Club. She stopped me to tell me how cute Milly is and it turns out that she has a labradoodle who is 7 1/2 months old (exactly 1 month younger) which she got from you as well and they are 1/2 sisters as Joey sired them both! What a small world! Ha! Thanks for everything!

8-2007  - Heather,

I just wanted to tell you, that Penni (daughter of Nikki and Joey) is doing so great and is an absolute joy. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. We spoil her at every opportunity. She has had training classes and is potty trained and is doing great. Thanks again for such a wonderful dog.

6-2007 - Hi Heather,

Another update. Are little girl is 1 and 1/2 yr old, and got a First Place in Novice Agility. It was our first agility trial and she came in 1st. She is a GREAT dog, still the "cuddle bug", loves to hike the trails, or go for a run on the beach, and the picture says it all with her agility skills.

6-26-2006 - Heather,

We wanted to take a minute to thank you for our new family member, Sydney! When we decided to get a dog, we had no idea how much this little girl would add to our family! She has been an absolute dream to train, and she is so loving with our kids. Also, she has the perfect balance of being able to play and run all over with us and then at other times she is just as content to just sit at our feet. She just likes to be where we are.

We have talked with quite a few people about Labradoodles, and we've learned so much about them. What we have learned, though, is that you really know what you are doing in your breeding. First of all, you have an absolute love for the breed (which we completely understand, now having one ourselves). You care so much about the dogs which makes you so careful about the breeding that you do. You always want to make sure that the dogs and the health of the dogs come first. It's very clear that you do this from your heart We tell people all the time now that we truly believe that Labradoodles are the "perfect dog". Between the no shedding, allergy benefits, their high intelligence and loving nature, we can think of no down side to owning a Labradoodle. We do tell people, though to make sure it's a Hale's Labradoodle! Thank you again, you have given us a wonderful friend for life!

Sincerely,
The Knapp Family......

Here is Coal - he is a truly amazing dog and our entire family is loving him..... Even Jenna (age 8) who was SO AFRAID of dogs prior to Coal arriving in our family! She loves him and she wants him to sleep with her every night! Coal is so CALM and has the BEST TEMPERAMENT. Our training has gone very well - he learns quickly and is virtually house-broken. He is so adorable and loving. We cannot get enough of him! We gratefully thank you for selecting the BEST dog for our family - and for spending a lot of time on the phone with us getting to know our family needs and which dog would be best suited for us. Thank you again and we look forward to buying our second Labradoodle from you soon!

Fondly,
Jane Lorin and family.........

Hi Heather

I work at the hospital 12 hr shifts, sooooo on days off, we go for a walk at the beach. She is keeping us all safe from the seagulls, chasing them into the water. My husband is just in love with her as I am. We are going to the doodle romp in Malibu. I will let you know. She is EVERYTHING that a Labradoodle says and more, she has our hearts. Well, you asked for an up date and pictures....... Sister is 8 1/2 months, (12-09-05) Marly and Ling-Ling. She is 44 lbs, (she was the runt) and is soooo cute, and happy. We cut her hair a few inches for summer, she is really Marly's daughter, she had red high lights before her hair cut. Her obedience trainer just loved her and ASKED, how she was socialized from birth, since she is so happy, and trusting. She now is in training for agility and just started 2 months ago and we are already in advanced classes. We are keeping the jumps low, 6-12 inches, while she is growing. We have NEVER heard her growl, and she is so happy, and bouncy in her walk,

6-19-2006 - Hi Heather,

This is just a note to update you on how Georgia's doing. She's 6 months old today and is a remarkable dog. We're completing her 1st level of training this week, we have spread it out over 2 months and she has done it all very easily, although she's still a little too excited when she first meets people. Brian Lee is our trainer and he has focused mainly on behavior rather than on the specific activity. There doesn't seem to be anything she can't learn at this point. Before I bought Georgia, I thought I would be doing agility trials with the new puppy. When I met you and Georgia, you said her best trait was her patience. You were so right! She is sweet and very patient and loves to follow my directions. But, she doesn't have the high energy and self determination that would make her an agility competitor. So, I've been researching various aspects of therapy work that I can do with her next year, after she completes all the training and I have more time. This seems to be her calling. Everyone who meets her comments on how sweet and calm she is and they love to touch her coat and talk to her. Well, this weekend she proved herself a good candidate for that field! We attended a Dog Fun Day in Huntington Beachhosted by Therapy Dogs of So Cal. There were more than 250 people /150 dogs in attendance. The dogs were of every breed, mix, and size imaginable (there were 4 Labradoodles: 1 from Rutland Manor, 2 US F1s and 1 F1 from Canada). TDSG had it very well organized and had info booths, exhibits of therapy dog work, help with Canine Good Citizen Certification, agility equipment familiarity, and several contests of handler-dog activities that would be meaningful in a therapy situation. There were 10 contests ½ one each for longest sit, cutest tricks, best coat, cutest costume, etc. I guess people in hospitals and others benefiting from dog therapy like to look at a dog's eyes, touch their coat, see them do tricks etc. Each contest averaged 7-8 entrants, except the contest for Prettiest Eyes: there were 30-40 dogs entered in that one. I entered Georgia in it only because it had so many entrants and she would get experience sitting in a confined area (the ring was about 30 feet in diameter) with lots of other dogs and people. We were really packed in there. On the left of us were two gorgeous Afghans, in front of us was a Border Collie, and on our right was a Dachshund with a lady who took one look at Georgia and said, I don't know how they can judge her eyes; they can;t even see them. Four judges walked around and looked at each dog while we all tried to sit very nicely. Just as the last judge passed us, I saw some friends come through the entrance with their Labradoodle. Georgia had done very, very well at sitting with all the dogs and people, and since that was my objective, I got up and quietly walked out of the ring and greeted my friends and went to sit with them under a tree. We were talking and I heard on the loudspeaker, "Georgia where are you? You have won first place in the Pretties Eyes contest." What????? My Georgia? One of the judges came over and got me and said Georgia Won! I couldn't believe it! I walked over with her, got our Blue Ribbon, had our picture taken, and received our prize. Now, you have to know that I've always thought she had very spooky eyes: when I went to pick her up at your place, I was very unsure if I wanted such eyes. Very amber, very wise-owl open. My daughter and several other people have always said she had pretty eyes or unusual eyes and I always thought they were saying that just to be kind. We won!! The therapy people said her eyes would be very good in therapy work they're pretty eyes and Georgia likes to make long, comfortable eye contact with everyone, and that's a good trait to comfort bedridden or incapacitated people. I told them that I planned to use her in therapy for autistic children and they were very excited, saying how valuable that would be. Autistic children have difficulty making eye contact with other people, but could probably do it with a dog who would look back at them.My daughter (who rightfully so said, I told you so, Mom. took the attached pictures when we got home. The picture taken at the event was Polaroid and I can't send it. I thought you would want to brag a little too on how well your baby is turning out so it's o.k. if you want to use these pictures on your web site for future customers. Heather, this is one very special dog and I have grown to appreciate her more and more each day. On a sad note, I had to have my Airedale put down 4 weeks ago, but she lasted long enough for Georgia to have 6 weeks with another dog in the house. I think it helped all 3 of us. I hope this note finds you and your family all well and ready to enjoy summer. Please let me know if you want me to Fax or mail the spay cert.

8-21-2006 - Dear Heather,

Here is our beautiful sweet fluff ball- with healthy hips! We love her so much. She is finishing her formal training next week. She is doing beautifully ( not one shoe eaten!) She is very athletic and will start agility class soon. I think she is really strong, So we are grateful she is obedient. Here face and eyes look very human like to us- others too. She gets quite the comments. She and Molly (Dr. Klien's girl) play at the park and daycare 1 time per week. They are adorable together. Molly is taller and more poodle looking lbs. Snickers is shorter, fuller more Marley looking. 47LBs so far. She has a lot of personality, mischievous, bouncy, talkative ( especially to herself in the mirror), loves to chase birds, ducks, and mice. Let us know what you think of her. If she is more like Mom Tierre or Dad Marley. Hope you're well,

Hale and Anne Milgrim.........

11-21-05 - Dear Heather,

Thank you for our darling puppy Murphy. He is so smart and mellow. In just over a week, he has learned to come, sit, shake, and stay. Even his house training is going well. Our children love him. When my four year old daughter picks him up, he doesn't complain at all. He looks like a stuffed animal in her arms.

What a refreshing change from other dogs we have owned! I didn't know there could be such a difference. He is a great addition to the family.

Sincerely,
Jim, Bernadette, Meghan, Collin, Devon, Jack, Aidan, Bobby, Mary, John Paul...and Murphy

9-30-05 - Hi Heather,

I'm way overdue in sending this e-mail to you. I just wanted you to know that I am completely in love with my puppy. I don't yet have a photo of him surfing for your website. I decided that obedience training was first (although I did get him his own foam 10" surfboard so wait for that). He has his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification and has passed the test to be a therapy dog. We're starting his volunteer hours at Miller Children's Hospital in Long Beach. I love him. Everyone loves him. I spent hundreds of hours training him but he is a joy for everyone to be around. I take him to my office a couple times a week and my patients love him. He's bigger than you predicted a month ago his vet weighed him at 84 pounds. That was a 14 months. So . . . although I think he's growing no taller, he may yet fill out a couple more pounds. No problem with that's all the more wonderful to see this happy playful dog just bounding around and making everyone smile at his hugeness and his lovable goofiness. I couldn't be more pleased. I've referred many people to you. I'm attaching a picture of Chewie at the dog park.

Thanks a million,
Karol

12-26-2004 - Heather,

Jazzy made it home safe, healthy, and happy! My dad and I had a great drive with her, she is so well behaved. She sat on his lap, and then we put her into the carrier for her to go potty on the diaper pad. She is already potty trained, thank you very much for that, I’m sure it’s because of how you raised her so far. She cries a bit or whimpers and we know she has to go potty. She’s gotten used to traveling around in the car, we drove another hundred miles or so round trip on Christmas day with her to relatives’ houses and she was great, slept on one of my daughter’s lap. Last night she slept in her crate and didn’t have any accidents. I took her out at 6:00AM and fed her with my oldest daughter. We both slept next to the crate last night so Jazzy wouldn’t be lonely. This was the best Christmas we’ve ever had, very magical. My kids didn’t care about opening any presents after they saw Jazzy. I don’t think she’s been out of anyone’s sight, including when she’s asleep. She slept a lot yesterday and today she’s been very active. She’s the best puppy we could ever imagine having and will be a very very special part of all of our lives. Thank you so much for all the wonderful things you’ve done to be able to allow us to care for a dog like Jazzy. At first, I thought the cost was high, but now I realize you can’t really put a price tag on a puppy like this, she’s worth every cent I paid and probably much more. We don’t have a digital camera, otherwise you’d have pictures attached to this e-mail. We’ll get some digital pictures sent to you in the next few weeks though. I did get your message today and tried calling back a short while ago. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas. From all of us Eiseles down here in San Clemente (Mark, Kathy, Melissa, Amber, Brooke & Jazzy), I want to say THANK YOU! once again. You’re the best.

Sincerely,
Mark

We're loving our Snickerdoodle. He's the perfect dog! He is the star of puppy training classes. He learns so quickly it's amazing! The trainer with 30 years experience has never worked with a Labradoodle and has never seen a dog learn so quickly. We're all loving him. The kids have some sibling rilvarly going on with the dog and he's big enough to bother them but minimally like knocking into them, stealing toys and licking their sticky hands.... etc.. but it's a fun time. Our sitters and everyone who sees us with him stops us and loves our dog. He's a great addition to our family and we couldn't be happier. We had him neutered a few weeks ago and he had to live in his crate with a cone the Vet was laughing and said yep it's always the smart dogs that find a way to scratch and bite at their wound. We were all very sad to see him crated so much during the three days but it was a happy reunion when he was healed enough to leave it alone.

Thanks again for the perfect dog.
Karen

Good Afternoon Heather

What a thrill it was to see you with Florence and the puppy you donated.my wonderful sister in law has had two bone marrow transplants at that hospital and she is doing great.. Also a update on Cali, took him to the vet on Monday for more shots and he is up to 15 lbs and doing wonderful.he is such a pleasure to own. happy to say sleeping all night and house broken.. but the best of all still no problems with my grandson. We will have him neutered after all his shots are complete. Do you then want me to mail you the certificate. I hope all is well with you and the family and maybe we will see you on the lake!!

God Bless and take care,
Charleen

Yes! Of course you can put our adorable puppy on the website. Nalu is graduating from puppy school this Wednesday. He knows how to sit, stay, lay down, shake and speak. He is a very mellow puppy and just gets excited when he sees other people but quickly quiets down. He isn’t potty trained yet but we are making good progress. He is so good in his crate and sleeps through the night without a peep. He’s not crazy about Cutter and me leaving for work and school but he’s getting better about it and seems to quiet down. He is so loving and playful and loyal and cute. We just love him!

Thank you so much!
Lorri

Hi Heather,

Riley arrived on time and none worse for the wear. He was a little shy coming out of the crate. Then licked everyone and started wagging his tail. He's very sweet. He had a drink of water and some food . Crate arrived clean. He seems to have held his own all the way across country! He peed and pooped a few times and we were on our way home. He's having a long nap now. He's been playful and gentle. He's a beautiful little guy. We're off to the vet tomorrow. We'll keep you posted on how we all do! Thanks for everything. We'll take good care of him.

Hi Heather,

Eric, Linda, and Jonah Robins here. Just wanted to let you know that "Lil Baby Marla" is now about 17 weeks old, and is cute as a button. She has had perfect health, and weighed in today at 23lbs. She is very smart and friendly, and everyone who sees her on walks stops to pet her and tell us how cute she is. We are working with Brian Lee, who is an acclaimed dog trainer in our area, and he says she has a terrific personality. We just had her spayed today, and so far she is coming along.

Best,
The Robins
