Did you know your pooches aren’t really picky eaters!! 🍽️ Australian Labradoodles aren’t an over eating breed like other breeds can be, so this can be mistaken as picky eating.
They are just smarter 🤓than you and wait for the good stuff 🤣🤣 🍿
In all seriousness when your puppy doesn’t finish their meal, don’t immediately worry. Consider these things…
🐾 Are you training with treats ? Those treats count as calories and food. Make sure your using healthy low calorie treats and using them sparingly
🐾 or do you scramble them eggs, get them yummy canned foods, toppers or boil them chicken to entice them to eat if they aren’t finishing their meal?
Great… your pupster is a fantastic hooman owner and is training you right 🤣🎤🤣
When you keep offering them better things to eat of course they’ll wait for something better 🤣💕 wouldn’t you?!?
🔑The key is to be patient take all things into consideration before immediately offering something better and as always if you are worried seek a veterinarian’s advice. But sometimes they don’t know sh$t either so ask your breeder 🤣🤓🐾🥰
A skilled breeder will have the breed specific information and knowledge many professionals might not have!
⭐️Remember they only want the best for you and your FURbaby even when they have to tell you it’s your fault, not the dogs 🐶🤪 I’m speaking from 26 years of experience 😊 I might know a thing or two 🙌

What is A Guardian Home?
Our Guardian Home Program allows for families that live within 100 miles of Bakersfield, Ca to have our “pick of the litter puppy”. In addition to our Pick of the litter puppies, from time to time we may have an excellent adolescent/adult breeding dog as well.
All of our boys need to be placed in Bakersfield and are not available to be placed any farther. Our girls can be placed up to 100 miles away. These Guardian Home pooches are placed for just a fraction of the price. The Guardian Home puppy or dog is part of the Guardian Home’s Family forever, while the breeding rights are retained by Hale’s Labradoodles. Inc. There are time limits on a breeding dog’s career (each situation is slightly different so we prefer to work out specific details with each family on an individual basis.) Once the Guardian Dog has completed his/her breeding career, he/she will be spayed or neutered at our expense, and will remain a forever pet of their Guardian Family!
Is There a Cost Involved to Be a Guardian Home?
Yes. We do not give our Guardian dogs or pups away. The cost of a Guardian Home dog/puppy requires a deposit of $500.00 of the standard pet price (standard pet price is $4000) regardless of the age, gender, color, or size of the puppy/ dog. When the Guardian puppy/dog has completed its breeding career for us, we will transfer all registration paperwork into Guardian’s name.
Our Guardian Home Families are responsible for the general routine veterinary care and wellness of the Guardian puppy/dog placed with them. This means annual vaccines, feeding a high-quality dog food, grooming at Hale’s Pampered Pooch if local, organic flea/tick prevention, training, regular exercise and socialization, and most importantly all the love and care and attention possible=)
Any “breeding related” medical costs for the Guardian Dog are the expense of Hale’s Labradoodles, Inc. Our Guardian Homes are only responsible for routine maintenance and medical care just as they would if they had their own dog
What Are the Benefits and obligations of Being a Guardian Home?
A Guardian Family gets what we consider to be the very best that Hale’s Labradoodle’s has to offer in the Australian Labradoodle! This means that we choose our breeding stock based on the best qualities that families have known, loved, and come to expect in one of Hale’s Labradoodles, Inc. Not only are we known for our pooches exceptional beauty, outstanding health and fantastic overall consistency in temperament, you and your pooch will also get to be a small part in the advancement of our wonderful breed.
Another added benefit to our Guardian Families is that their Guardian dog or puppy will be completely health tested at the expense of Hale’s Labradoodles, Inc prior to entering our breeding program at no cost to the Guardian Family. Our Guardian Families get to enjoy the excitement of being a part of our breeding program, and seeing the offspring of their very own Guardian dog be placed with families across the country and throughout the world bringing others the same joy and happiness that they have received from their Guardian Dog!
